Dear Sponsors, on behalf of the Nuestras Raices DE, I would like to thank you for sponsoring the Pageant, Hispanic Festival, and Parade. It was another successful year. We stride in making every year bigger and better with your help. This year’s festival will be held on September 9th, 10th & 11th, 2011 in which we will be celebrating 34 years of service in the community.

In the pageant we give young ladies the opportunity to express and learn about not only their culture but about other different cultures as well. The pageant also reminds the contestants and viewing audience about our heritage and how important it is not to forget it, and keeping it alive. There is a continuous effort to take progressive steps through the Pageant to help our young ladies to build self esteem and confidence, which assist the contestants to become a better and productive person in the community.

In the festival we provide rides for the children, food, and live entertainment with local and famous acts. It’s a 3-day event in which we also remind the community about our culture, not only through music, but through food as well. The 3-day festival is one of the most anticipated events in the tri-state area. In the parade the community gets to show off their talents, culture and pride. It’s a day of family fun and joy. It’s a day where politicians, businesses, schools and other organizations get to communicate with the Hispanic community. It’s where many people are recognized and appreciated for their hard work within the community.

We also give back to the community with toys to needy children and scholarship to college students. It is with the continued support of our sponsors, such as yourselves that allows us to give back in such a huge way.

We have many new ideas and plans for the upcoming months, which will be forthcoming, as our event dates gets closer. We are looking forward to your support in order to provide a good cultural event for “everyone” to enjoy.
